Rather than seeking to escape aspects of the journey through this world, mystics bravely confront and embrace whatever circumstance we may be facing, discovering the all-encompassing peace that is ultimately revealed at the heart of all experience, and in every moment.

The teachings we will explore are not based exclusively on any major spiritual tradition or religion, but rather draw from the Truth underlying all mystical pathways and faiths, including many forms of Mysticism, Hinduism, Vedanta, Buddhism, Gnosticism and Qabalah.
No previous experience or knowledge of any of these subjects is necessary.

The area captured in this extraordinary image is a star-forming region in the Large Magellanic Cloud known as LH 95.
“In this image, a bluish nebula of glowing hydrogen expands out into the remains of the molecular cloud that collapsed to form the massive stars in this region. The effect is the result of strong stellar winds and high levels of ultraviolet radiation from the largest stars.” —Space Telescope Science Institute’s (STScl) Office of Public Outreach.
I love the metaphor of a “star-forming region.” Of the many wonders to be found in outer space, these areas still capture the imagination more than most. They often appear exceptionally colorful, with unusual shapes, transparency and depth. And they contain the seeds of countless future stars—stars that may encourage and nurture life in as-yet unknown worlds, unimaginably distant and past our concept of time.
LH 95 and other regions like it are a birthing ground for the explosions of light, power, transformation and beauty that we call stars.
